We’re safely home again after 48 hours in Monterey, CA.  We visited the Aquarium twice, and spent much of both visits playing in the kids “Splash Zone.”  The girls had a good time, so we all had a good time.

We had a great little hotel that had a separate bedroom for the girls, while JJ and I had a queen bed in the main room.  Both rooms opened into the bathroom, and it worked perfectly for our needs.  And, it was the only hotel in Monterey to have an indoor heated pool, which was why I chose it in the first place.  (You’re welcome, Lyd.)

The weather was beautiful, and we had a relaxing time.  We didn’t “do” as much as I had hoped, but I forgot that when you travel with a baby who still takes at least one nap a day, you have to respect and observe that naptime.  Plus, we only had two days to work with.  Thank goodness for the pool at the hotel!
