I am Emily: a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, a music teacher, a singer (1st soprano!), a piano player, and a good dishwasher.  I am creative, thought-full, frugal, conscientious, idealistic, a bit of a dreamer, and really good at connecting with little children.  I am a procrastinator, occasionally mildly anxious, often feeling guilty (even when I don’t need to), and a little too addicted to the internet.  I like good novels, walks outside, spending time at the ocean, reading blogs, using up my leftovers without having to throw anything away, and watching PBS.  I teach Music Together classes, and I want to be a doula (professional labor assistant) when my kids grow up, although my husband wants me to get a master’s degree in music.  I am a WELS Confessional Lutheran and a pastor’s wife.  I like organic food, alternative medicine, acupuncture, and natural childbirth.  I love to watch “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Office,” and if they contrive a reason to break up Jim and Pam, I will NOT be amused!
