two wise quotes

Today I just can’t get it together enough to write a post.  There’s too much on my mind and heart and body.  So, I instead present to you two wise quotes from others which I discovered on the internet today.

First, this is the final Facebook post of Elizabeth Edwards, written the day before she died:

“I have found that in the simple act of living with hope, and in the daily effort to have a positive impact in the world, the days I do have are made all the more meaningful and precious. And for that I am grateful.”

Second, this is a quote I ran across here from Fyodor Dostoyevsky:

“To love someone means to see him as God intended him.”

May we all live in hope, live for others, and see others as God intended them to be.
